Wayne Apted – Chief Financial Officer

Mr Wayne Apted has over 25 years experience in the financial and commercial experience, focussing on the mining industry. Prior to joining the Company, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Masan Resources Limited for 2 years during the ramp up of its $1 billion poly metallic Nui Phao project and prior to this spent more than 12 years at Glencore Xstrata plc in a number of financial roles including the Initial Public Offering of Xstrata, company acquisitions and the subsequent merger with Glencore.

Terry Burns – Project Development Manager

Mr Terry Burns is an experienced geoscientist, mineral economist and mining engineer with +30 years of experience gained from several decades of working with interesting and challenging projects across a wide variety of commodities, geological and geographical environments and involvement with many “unique” mining and processing operations. He has held senior technical and operational management responsibilities with iconic Australian majors and several ASX-listed mid-size and junior companies.

Mr Burns has considerable experience in the discovery and identification of new projects, feasibility studies, the re-engineering of recycled assets, and the underground and open pit mining of single and poly-metallic precious and base metal mineral deposits.

He is currently a Director of two of Finders’ Indonesian subsidiary companies.

Andrew Reid – Chief Operations Officer

Andrew has 25 years of experience in mining, both as a qualified geologist and mining engineer at Executive Management level in Australia and internationally. He was previously the General Manager for First Quantum at its polymetallic Kevitsa operation in the Arctic of Finland and more recently as the General Manager for a large Iron Ore Mine in West Africa, then as COO for BCM International which is one of the largest private mining contract and investment firms in West Africa.

Andrew has been involved in the establishment and operation of several greenfields operations covering copper, gold and uranium, from Australia to Europe and Africa where he spent 14 years.

Prior to these corporate roles he had experience as an owners representative for several large mine feasibility studies. He gained his earlier experience as a geologist working at sites mining narrow high grade underground veins to large multiple open pits, predominantly in gold.
